How it Works

Cost: There is no cost to score your home or to obtain a GreenPLUS certificate or a listing in the National GreenPLUS Registry.

Information Required: You will need to provide general identification information. You will also need to provide answers to approximately 25 multiple choice questions about the design of your home and products that you use. Your personal information will not be posted online and will be protected in accordance with the GreenPLUS privacy policy.

Results: If the resulting score exceeds baseline, your home will qualify for a GreenPLUS certificate and be listed in the GreenPLUS Registry. If you qualify, you will be issued a certificate online. If you do not qualify, please click on the “More Info” links in the questionnaire to learn about the issues and opportunities for improvement.

Edit your Registry Listing: You may save your worksheet at any time for completion later. You may also return to a competed Registry listing to edit your answers to reflect changes/improvements in your home. You will be issued an updated HSW score and a new certificate accordingly.
